RESEARCH INTEREST
As an electron-doped high-temperature superconductor, Pr1-xLaCexCuO4 (PLCCO) is very good for neutron scattering measurement because of its small Pr moment. One of my major job is to grow the PLCCO single crystal by the traveling solvent floating zone method using optical furnace. Some basic properties of PLCCO, such as magnetic moment, resistivity and specific heat, are also being studied by SQUID and PPMS. I also use neutron scattering to study the magnetic properties of PLCCO and YBCO, especially the resonance in the later one.
